Where to look for a rental
- Cabo San Lucas and El Tezal. Compare homes and condos around town and on the El Tezal hillside. If you commute, check the route at the time of day you normally travel.
- San José del Cabo. Compare homes and apartments near downtown, in residential neighborhoods such as Monte Real, and near the Hotel Zone. Consider your regular trips to work, school and shops.
- The Tourist Corridor. If you need access to both towns, compare communities along the corridor and check driving time, parking and access to everyday services.
How to compare monthly rents
Check whether the rent is quoted in Mexican pesos (MXN) or US dollars (USD). Ask what the monthly price includes, especially maintenance, water, internet and parking, and what you will need to pay at move-in. Confirm the minimum lease term, whether the property is furnished, and any pet rules for the unit and the community.
